Safety First!!

Scope Gap Contractors Inc. considers the safety of our workers as it’s top priority. We have established a Health and Safety program that provides support with regards to all aspects of health and safety. Management is committed to providing the proper training, tools and environment to promote a safety culture among all members of the Scope Gap Contractors Team.

Our policy on Health & Safety together with appropriate codes of practice and relevant legislation, will form the minimum standard by which our work will be carried out. Our Health and Safety Policy has been developed to ensure that:

• Workplace hazards are identified and appropriate controls are put in place
• Workplace injuries, accidents and near misses are accurately reported and recorded
• An early return to the workplace for injured workers is facilitated in a safe and controlled manner
• Workplace exposures do not adversely affect the health of our workers
• Drug or alcohol impairment does not affect workplace safety
• Provisions are made to provide appropriate Health and Safety training
• Work place environments and facilities are designed, constructed and maintained to provide safe working conditions
• Staff are actively involved in the review and refinement of workplace safety, health and environmental procedures and issues
• Regulations, legislative requirements, codes of practice and industry best standards are adhered to
• There are regular audits for compliance with our Health and Safety procedures

All staff and contractors working on behalf of Scope Gap Contractors will demonstrate a commitment to workplace Health and Safety, as this is an integral part of how we do business.

We ensure that all Scope Gap employees have current and certified training prior to working on the job site. All customers are assured that the appropriate training and equipment used is of the highest standards and tested quarterly to minimize risk and increase safe work practices. We place the provision of safe environments for everyone at the top of our agenda. We are committed to working tirelessly for the health, safety and well-being of our colleagues and those around us.
